I was lucky enough to spend my Honeymoon in the Maldives last May. The Maldives are a gorgeous set of 1190 islands that are only a short 4.5hr flight from Singapore. While I spent most of my 10 days lazing on the pristine beach and soaking up some warmth I couldn’t help but notice how much the images online are identical to what I was looking at. I did visit the capital Male one day and did a 1hr guided walk of the island and a submarine tour of the reef. The capital is only small and was approximately 1hr speedboat from the north male Atoll. The unique part of the Maldives is they are only 5ft above sea level! I would definitely recommend having this on your bucket list with a little stopover in Singapore.
