We recommend that as a guideline only, you should have a minimum connecting time of 1 hour for domestic departures and 2 hours for international departures. Each airline may vary and you should reconfirm with your airline on their guidelines. How do I pay for my booking and what forms of payment do you accept? You are able to pay for your booking with either credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex and diners are welcome), cash, cheque or direct deposit. If you would like to direct deposit please contact the office and we can supply our banking details and a reference. Can I use a DeparturePoint gift voucher to pay for part or all of my booking? Yes. It is also required that we sight the gift voucher before use. Gift vouchers are available for use on any travel arrangement or product sold by DeparturePoint Gladstone and non-transferable for cash. Does DeparturePoint Gladstone stock other travel necessities e.g. foreign currency? We keep a large range of travel extras in store, including foreign currency which we have available to sell on hand or order, travel insurance, travel accessories, luggage, travel Sims, multicurrency cash-passports and much more. Can I pay a deposit to secure my booking or do you require full payment? This varies depending on the travel arrangements you are purchasing, however with many bookings, we can take deposit payment and defer full payment until closer to the travel date. If you require us to organise your visa we can certainly accommodate you, we will require passports for travellers with a minimum of 6 months validity. We issue your travel documents between 2 and 3 weeks prior to travel, this ensures that your documents and itineraries are up to date before you depart. Do I have to book to have an appointment with someone or can I just come in when it suites me? No. Although we do recommend making appointments to ensure you see someone quickly and efficiently, if you prefer to drop in we will do our best to accommodate you and have you seated with a consultant as soon as possible.
